Commercial Vehicle Officer Training - 2026 Advanced Roadside Hazardous Materials

Full Description: This is an advanced course of hazardous materials shipments during roadside inspections. The course will provide a brief overview of general hazardous materials inspections and then look in depth at the regulations for class 1 explosive materials, hazardous substances and wastes, infectious substances, lithium batteries, and class 7 radioactive materials. These modules will cover definitions, packaging, placarding, markings, labels, and exceptions for each type of material discussed.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Certified Inspectors

PREREQUISITES: FMCSA North American Standard Level III (NASI Part A - Driver Only), FMCSA North American Standard Level I (NASI Part B - Vehicle), FMCSA General Hazardous Materials, and FMCSA Cargo Tank Inspection

Prerequisites: I have completed the following courses:
FMCSA North American Standard Level III (NASI Part A - Driver Only),
FMCSA North American Standard Level I (NASI Part B - Vehicle),
FMCSA General Hazardous Materials, and
FMCSA Cargo Tank Inspection
