Full Description: WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Attendance is restricted to active DEFENSE peers currently assigned to the team.

DATES: December 8–9, 2026
Reporting Time: 1300 on Day 1
Reporting Time: 0900 on Day 2
Release Time: by 1500 on Day 2

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
This refresher training is designed for current DEFENSE Team peers who have completed initial peer training and are actively serving in a peer support role. The purpose of this two-day session is to reinforce essential skills, stay current on best practices, and strengthen team cohesion.

Participants will review core competencies including peer support group response, individual crisis intervention skills, confidentiality expectations, policy updates, data tracking and reporting procedures, and available resources.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Dinner will be provided on Day 1, followed by team-building activities.
• Lunch will be provided on Day 2.
• A QR code will be provided via email at enrollment for participants to request lodging and report any food allergies. PLEASE WATCH FOR THIS EMAIL AND RESPOND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

More details will be shared as the event approaches, but a lodging headcount is needed as soon as possible, so timely registration is appreciated.
